Five days to go ...
So what's the situation? Any rules been laid down for sure? Any idea how many teams are coming? Is there going to be a pick-up (free agent) team? Do I need to get some money to somebody before I show up? What time is it starting? Is it BYOB or is it provided with the entry fee? Is it just me or is Ivy's butt really unattractive?

We just decided the details for the tourney. There will be no amendments to the grounder or homerun rule this tournament. We just don't think we have not tested and perfected these rules enough. We will be pitching against a strike zone this year consisting of a galvanized bucket. 2 Strikes in the bucket and you are out. 3 balls outside of the bucket and you walk. Teams will be drawn for the first round today and we will post results tonight. All captains will be at field by 9:30 and all teams will be present at 10:00am. If there is a serious delay you will forfeit your first game. All players will pay $20 each and will receive 12 beers and entry to the tournament for this money. Keep track of your empties as all members must consume these 12 beers before the championship game. All fees can be paid on gameday. Hope this awnsers some questions.

The Warriors need to decide on a team captain. I would do it, but I'll be doing good to make it there by 10 a.m. from Morganton. 9:30 is probably out of the question.
i can be the captain...i probably won't have a late night on Friday for once.
can someone post directions for saturday?
also, i'd like a posting of the first matchups.
Directions-
-Take 26 to Airport Exit
-Take a right and head down 280 towards brevard about 5 miles
- Take a right onto 191 or Haywood Road (at this point the hill is in view)
- Take a left onto High Pasture Lane and follow road to the tourney.
- Park well before the fields unless you need to unload some crap
